Effective anti-corrosion protection

Advanced alkaline and weak acid zinc coating technologies provide durable protection for steel and cast iron against corrosion.

Electrolytic zinc plating

Electrolytic zinc coating is a process of applying a protective zinc coating with anodic properties to metal surfaces, primarily steel and cast iron. This technology is widely used in industry as an effective barrier against corrosion, increasing the durability and service life of metal components. At Galwano-Perfekt, we use ENTHONE solutions, which guarantee high quality and optimise coating properties such as distribution, plasticity and chemical resistance.

We offer electrolytic zinc coating in two variants: alkaline and weakly acidic. In the alkaline process, the coating is characterised by uniform distribution at different current densities, high plasticity and excellent ability to fill recesses, which allows for more effective protection of parts with complex geometry. In addition, this coating is corrosion-resistant and undergoes passivation in the form of a blue or thick coating based on trivalent chromium.

In the low-acid process, elements with a very aesthetic, mirror-like shine are blackened. Passivation can be blue or thick-coated based on Cr 3, and yellow passivation based on Cr 6 is also available. This variant also allows for the processing of cast iron and has excellent micro-smoothing properties.

Process parameters - Alkaline process

  • Very good coating distribution at all current densities
  • High coating ductility, ensuring its durability
  • Excellent ability to fill depressions and irregularities
  • High corrosion resistance
  • Blue or thick-film passivation based on Cr 3

Process parameters - Weak acid process

  • Unique coating gloss
  • Blue or thick-film passivation based on Cr 3
  • Yellow passivation based on Cr 6 available
  • Cast iron processing possible
  • Good micro-smoothing ability

Production capacity

We have a modern, automatic alkaline zinc coating line using the rack method, which allows for precise coating of elements of various shapes and sizes. The weak acid process is carried out on manual rack lines and on a barrel line using the PUB technique, which allows for flexible adaptation to the needs of various production processes.
